Back to School Special to Protect Our Teachers!

We have heard from numerous teachers recently that they are concerned for their personal health during this pandemic with in-school classes starting soon.

This impacts me personally. My father was a teacher; my mother worked in the school library in my home town; and, one of my staff used to be a teacher. I have a special place in my heart for teachers and would like to help them have peace of mind as we face these challenging times together.

I will give a FREE Health Care Surrogate and Living Will to any teacher who works in Manatee or Sarasota County through Monday, August 31, 2020.

What does this mean? Simply put, a health care surrogate is a legal document where you name someone to make health care decisions for you if you are unable to make them for yourself. You, the person creating/signing the document are called the “principal”. The person the principal designates to carry out the medical decisions for them is called the “surrogate”. A living will is a legal document where you make a written declaration and direct the providing, withholding, or withdrawal of life-prolonging procedures in the event you have a terminal condition, and end stage condition, or are in a persistent vegetative state.

There is no catch or hidden agenda. It’s just me using my professional skills to give back in this small way and hopefully provide some peace of mind during this time of need. You are welcome to call my office at 941-914-9145 or email my practice manager Chelsea Day at Chelsea@wtpelf.com to get started.
