Oftentimes, in most wills they’ll be a provision that says, “My personal representative does not have to post a bond.” However, many of the counties here in the state of Florida require the personal representative to post a bond. Personally, I think it’s a good idea to have the personal representative post a bond. Why? What if they do something wrong? What if they don’t administer the estate the way they’re supposed to?
